Hi all,

My Gmail has been so slow the last week it's almost unusable I'm located in Chang Kian and have a TOT connection - but at our office in Hang Dong which has a 3BB connection Gmail is super fast?

Anyone else have problems at the moment with TOT/Gmail.

Gmail running fast and well using 3BBB here in Suthep. Watching movies, Google earth, all goes well.

Other sites seem ok

Seems OK now but I shut a few other things down before trying again

I started a similar thread in the Pattaya forum regarding 3BB versus TOT. I haven't had a problem with Gmail, but there's been a big drop in downlard & upload speeds on 3BB recently.

+1 in Hang Dong road area, near the airport, with 3BB

I'm in Udon Thani, recently changed from TOT to 3BB because of very sporadic signal from TOT and terrible service. 3BB is so much better there is really no comparison. Always have strong signal and and am able to stream and download with no interruptions and have only the basic service for 590 Baht a month.

I switched to CAT and had fiber optics installed...TOT has also...depends where you live!

I am out in Mae Onn, about 30 kliks from the airport, using TOT. Paying for 10 Mbps and getting an average of 8.35. Except for the last 2 weeks when it has been very slow. Seems to have recovered today. Am wait- listed for 3BB optical when they push out this far.

I had a similar experience a few days ago in BKK on ToT. For some strange reason Gmail was running very slow/delayed. Someone sending me an email contacted me by phone to make sure I got it because they had received an "email delivery delayed" message when they had sent it to me. I received their email about 8 hours after I sent it.

This seemed to be the case for incoming and outgoing gmail for two or three days. Other email services worked normally, and internet speed on regular websites seemed normal. Only Gmail was having delays.

Now Gmail is back to normal, almost instant delivery/receipt.

I work in Chonburi where I have a SCREAMING fast TOT ADSL connection. My weekend Jomtien 3BB behaves like a slimy slug.
