May 1, 201412 yr I would change it in Laos when you get there. Agree ,few years back brought Kip back with us to CM.Banks wouldn't take it in exchange for baht neither would S & K.Finished up giving it to a friend who was going there. Plenty of money lenders as soon as you get over the border,we found all were about the same conversion rate.
May 2, 201412 yr u have cny! umm do a google for Banque Pour Le Commerce Exterieur Lao - this is the bank where i usually change my THB to kip and see if they list cny no idea what rate is offered for cny but always a few % more than what I would get in Thailand for THB to Kip
