Good move, they should be held accountable for the damage and division they have caused the country.

Good move?

Do you not remember the same or similar charges being filed some months back?

You hero's, Chalerm and Tharit, along with the RTP are gutless, spineless bastards, that would not arrest these guys back then and wont arrest em now. CAPO, the police and this entire Govt are a complete joke.

Get a grip moonao.

Spineless bastards...at one time that may have incurred the wrath. Sutheps total gameplan is about getting civil disorder to get the army out on the streets. Not about being spineless its about waiting this mob out. 6 months and hes not made any suggestions of reforms of any kind. His whole crusade is about demonising one person, be that man good or bad, you would think he was Pol Pot.

As Suthep moves from final push to final countdown, final war dont you think he would list some of the reforms to let the people know his ideas. He has nothing other than keeping a few thousand well wishers living in tents. Its a power grab before.......................

What about the 3 weeks of reform forums with all the reform ideas published every two days across all media and on this very forum...

All you do is rant on and you didn't even know all the reform blueprint is already happened almost 3 months ago.

Where have you been living???/...... Space?????? So there is your entire argument GONE!!!!!

Some people just talk crap on this forum... It is getting tedious when people have to constantly correct the ignorance of the red brigade.

And you dont rant or talk crap no ? cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Only a child would call those reform meetings productive or workable, let alone take them seriously, .... just pie in the sky rubbish to waste more time, it died with a whimper.

It is quite funny to see posters like you getting all riled up .... truth is it is going nowhere and both sides may be as bad as each other but none of them can hold a candle to being a fruitcake on repeat final showdown calls like Suthep.has been doing for months...

the more he does it the less are listening.

DSI seeks indictment of 58 protest leaders

The Nation

BANGKOK: -- Department of Special Investigation (DSI) chief Tarit Pengdith yesterday approached the director-general of the Office of Special Cases to indict 58 People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) leaders on eight grave charges - including sedition, insurrection, instigating chaos, trespassing, and violating election laws.

Tarit submitted 217 files comprising 57,514 pages of documents as evidence against PDRC chief Suthep Thaugsuban and the other 57.

The other charges are conspiring with more than 10 people to stage armed protests, resisting police orders, encouraging work stoppages to coerce the government, blocking election officials at polling stations from carrying out their duty, and preventing and disrupting the work of the Election Commission.

They are alleged to be in violation of Articles 113, 114, 116, 117, 215, 216, 365 of the Criminal Code and the Election of MPs and Acquisition Senators Act.

Ready to submit evidence

The evidence was given to Special Case Office director-general Nanthasak Poonsuk.

The DSI will submit evidence against seven other PDRC leaders including Democrats Ongard Klampaiboon and Boonyod Sukthinthai, who face the same charges, next week.

Nanthasak said a team of seven prosecutor would work together to decide on the cases.

The indictment will be classified into types of wrongdoing and not one decision against all 58 suspects.

While most of 58 suspects are at large, Sonthiyan Chuenruthainaitham and Sakoltee Phattiyakul were arrested.

Nanthasak said prosecutors would try to reach a decision before the detention deadline. Sonthiyan is scheduled to be released on May 10.

Moo, changing your avatar does not add anything to the sensibility of your comments. The damage to this country sits squarely on the shoulders of Thaksin, Yingluck and their puppet government.

I don't know why "rebellion" makes me think of mutiny, punishable by walking the plank.

Rebellion - CAPO regard this as saying anything against Thaksin or his clan and gang.

But you can call for armed militia to march on Bangkok, call for secession and establishing your own breakaway country, and even fly your own flag. That's just having some fun according to the supreme commander of CAPO.

Maybe he should be the first to walk the plank,

" ... and newly-reinstated Chief of the National Security Council Tawin Pleansri ".

This is bizarre. They are including the just newly reinstated man whom the Administrative Court and the Supreme Administrative Court - in an unanimous decision - ruled was unjustly and unconstitutionally removed from his position to make way for a Thaksin relative. This is the case that is in fact before the Constitutional Court now and could bring on Yingluck's removal and even her cabinet's removal. For some inexplicable reason, CAPO has added this man's name to the list of 57 PDRC leaders ( with apparently 300 more to come ) that is charged with insurrection. Is there any more evidence necessary of an administration completely and wildly out of control ?

Ah the idiot Scamper has spoken again, in one of his daily (hourly?) rants against common sense. Scamper: the Thai version of Fox TV.
Bizarre = you, Mr Scamper.
Insurrection = what the PDRC are trying to do.
"administration completely and wildly out of control" = what the PDRC are planning.
