May 1, 201412 yr Popular Post CAPO files rebellion charges against 58 PDRC leadersBANGKOK, 1 May 2014 (NNT) - The Center for the Administration of Peace and Order (CAPO) has pressed charges against 58 core leaders of the People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) for insurrection.Ms Sirima Sunawin, a member of the CAPO working committee, announced that the center was pleased with the outcome of the meeting on Thursday between the Election Commission (EC) and the government. She said the talk was considered a big step towards the restoration of peace in the country and the resolution of all conflicts. In regard to the July 20 general election, CAPO is looking to establish a joint committee with the EC in order to make certain that the election process would be conducted in a fair, transparent manner without glitches or disruptions. On this occasion, Ms Sirima stated that CAPO had today submitted rebellion charges against a total of 58 PDRC core members, along with supporting evidence, to the state prosecutors. The group is accused of inciting social unrest, promoting law violations, threatening public safety and obstructing the election process.Among the 58 individuals are PDRC Secretary-General Suthep Thaugsuban, Mr Satit Wongnongtoey, Mr Chumpol Julasai, Mr Thaworn Senneam, and newly-reinstated Chief of the National Security Council Tawin Pleansri.According to CAPO, another batch of about 300 PDRC members will also be charged for the same wrongdoing later on.-- NNT 2014-05-01
May 1, 201412 yr Popular Post At last! Somebody should file charges against CAPO for dereliction of duty.
May 1, 201412 yr Popular Post Have the charges already been rejected by the courts or are we supposed to wait 24 hours for that update ? CAPO must be really desperate.
May 1, 201412 yr Have the charges already been rejected by the courts or are we supposed to wait 24 hours for that update ? CAPO must be really desperate. Surely, the coup courts will soon act in their best interests. PS. "their" does not equal "Thailand's". PPS. same goes for CAPO.
May 1, 201412 yr I don't know why "rebellion" makes me think of mutiny, punishable by walking the plank. Edited May 1, 201412 yr by 55Jay
May 1, 201412 yr Popular Post Good move, they should be held accountable for the damage and division they have caused the country.
May 1, 201412 yr Popular Post Good move, they should be held accountable for the damage and division they have caused the country. Good move? Do you not remember the same or similar charges being filed some months back? You hero's, Chalerm and Tharit, along with the RTP are gutless, spineless bastards, that would not arrest these guys back then and wont arrest em now. CAPO, the police and this entire Govt are a complete joke. Get a grip moonao.
May 1, 201412 yr Does that that include the two young "Core leaders" featured in their own video with the Ferrari? (No not Ferrari & Bentley) That's someone else.
May 1, 201412 yr Good move, they should be held accountable for the damage and division they have caused the country. On that basis, then ditto the PTP & UDD Edited May 1, 201412 yr by The Deerhunter

They have given the PDRC enough rope and sure enough, they have been shooting themselves in the foot, loosing supporters, gaining more enemies, they lost momentum and finally we are watching them go through their death throes. It may take a bit more time but eventually justice will be served and these lot will be behind bars . Edited May 1, 201412 yr by ubonjoe Removed a inflammatory comment

Give them enough rope til they shoot themselves in the foot.............................. What, with rope?????? Oh, and insulting rude too! That's a bit below the belt. Now did that go over your head? Note, they were at least in two different sentences
May 1, 201412 yr if at first you do not succeed try try try try again .... pretty soon the only charge they will have left is j walking
May 1, 201412 yr Popular Post " ... and newly-reinstated Chief of the National Security Council Tawin Pleansri ". This is bizarre. They are including the just newly reinstated man whom the Administrative Court and the Supreme Administrative Court - in an unanimous decision - ruled was unjustly and unconstitutionally removed from his position to make way for a Thaksin relative. This is the case that is in fact before the Constitutional Court now and could bring on Yingluck's removal and even her cabinet's removal. For some inexplicable reason, CAPO has added this man's name to the list of 57 PDRC leaders ( with apparently 300 more to come ) that is charged with insurrection. Is there any more evidence necessary of an administration completely and wildly out of control ?

Yingluck being thrown out because of her dereliction of duty and nepotism? Chalerm is nothing but a breeding ground for hate, intimidation, and just all around drunken stupidity. For the rest of your post, I'll not respond to your childish mentality. In fact I will never respond to you again. You are not worth the time or bandwidth. Have a good night.

May 1, 201412 yr Popular Post The best thing that could happen would be for the CAPO be disbanded before any election is held. Ask for an accounting of funds they have managed to squander, thats most of what was alloted them. And finally put the ones in charge of this circle jerk organization on perment laterine duty. If there has ever been a less effective, government organization, with such ego manics in charge, (other than the PTP cabinet) I would hope someone could point it out, just so we could have a comparison to ponder.
May 1, 201412 yr <script type='text/javascript'>window.mod_pagespeed_start = Number(new Date());</script> Good move, they should be held accountable for the damage and division they have caused the country. There you go again trying to change history, red neck red shirts are very good at selective remembering ,that also includes the PTP, the only person that has caused division in Thailand is Thaskin Shinawatra and has done so since 2006.
May 1, 201412 yr Good move, they should be held accountable for the damage and division they have caused the country. Why am I not surprised by your response and Prbkk's support of it. If you expect any of the anti-Govt supporters to submit to this crap, then first the red shits need to take responsibility for all the crap they pulled in 2010. Until then, which will never happen, CAPO are doing nothing to defuse the situation, only make it worse. Which of course is their intention.

In that case, I agree with you.
May 1, 201412 yr Good move, they should be held accountable for the damage and division they have caused the country. I hope they also have a very long list of RED/UDD types (Jatuporn, et al.) for their actions in 2010, which were far far worse than anything the PDRC have ever done. No double standards. Right?

You have no idea at all do you? The criminal courts so far have served the Thaksin regime very well indeed. If the criminal courts were what you claim them to be, then Jatuporn and Nattawut certainly would not be walking the streets. I should be careful if I were you. one day you may find yourself in that court for defaming them and I wouldn't give a monkey's fart for your chances.

So it is official... Surapong started it and Sirima is echoing it... They have hijacked Abhisit's work to bring the country to agreement and bring a peaceful conclusion to the crisis by heaping all the credit onto the meeting with Yingluck and the EC. Without Abhisit and his meeting on Tuesday with the EC, yesterday's meeting with Poo would have ended the exact same way as all their other meetings IN FAILURE! So CAPO are now going to set up a separate commission to see that elections are transparent and fair?... Strange how they didn't bother in Feb or any other election where they were anything but. One of the main reasons Abhisit keeps his cards close to his chest. the PTP and CAPO will grab everything positive from his work and sacrifice and claim it as their own.... What a dreadful bunch of people. If I were Abhisit, I would send out a very clear and PUBLIC warning to CAPO that he will suspend all his plans if they continue to undermine him and basically take the piss. The see how long it takes for the mood to swing back to that of 2 weeks ago. Abhisit needn't do what he is doing, he can just sit back and let the courts do their thing.

May 1, 201412 yr Capo has really nothing here and the 300 other leaders. I don't see anywhere that DSI are charging the officials of the rice scheme of defrauding millions of farmers out of billions. Now that is an obvious crime and where are the law now. It's the same law that has been corrupt in supporting this government of all it's wrong doing. If anything, the protesters are deemed heroes to the nation for exposing the corrupt YS government.
May 1, 201412 yr and of course they will do nothing about the reds calling for the country to be divided and a new state made out of the north but then that would upset their terror troops and might backfire. These idiots are totally hopeless, one law for anyone that doesnt agree with them and all their cronies are able to do and say as they please. They dont even do any investigations that would show them up as the pones responsible for all the grenades, shootings, child deaths etc, they are as useful as rocking horse sh*t and have no ethics what so ever.
