I got few European friends here who want to travel to Penang and obtain tourist visas there.

Just double checking if info is correct:

1. They can only get single entry 30 days right?

2. Apply Monday, collect visa on Tuesday?

3. Bring 2 pics?

4. What is the cost?

5. Anything else they should know?

A tourist visa allows an entry of 60 days that can be extended for 30 days at immigration.

Add copy of passport photo page to list.

All others are correct but the consulate will be closed on Monday the 5th of May.

Visa fee is RM 110.

An agent can be used that saves the trip to the consulate.

    same day last i got one if i recall correctly.

    apply morning only collect same afternoon or any time after that.

    other visas are next day.

    If you're talking about Monday, 5 May, it's a Thai holiday and the Embassy will most likely be closed.

    It is closed Monday the 5th. Sign on the gate there Friday.
