My visa will expire on the 14th so need to get out of the country and re-enter. Want to fly to Laos.

How many days will I get upon return to Thailand?

I sort of need 30!

You will get 30 days entering by air you would only get 15 days at a border crossing.

If you only plan on flying out and back for the entry you might find flying to Malaysia less costly because there is no visa fee for entry plus the airfares will be lower.

I know that G8 country residents get 30 days whether land or air crossing. (has G8 been converted to G20 as the latter includes EU and therefore Holland?) Just to confuse things........!

It is only the G7 countries not the G8, The 8th one gets their 30 day entries from a bilateral agreement.

The G20 countries do not get any special treatment other than the ones that are the G7 countries or have a bilateral agreement with Thailand.
