LukDod
FWIW: I usually go to 7/11 and buy more time to top up my mobile. Yesterday was no exception...pay for the time requested and get a printed receipt with the code numbers needed to add the additional time to your mobile. I put the receipt in my pocket, intending to add the time later. It proved a big mistake....as the weather is hot and I sweat. The receipt got wet and some of the code numbers disappeared as the print on the 7/11 recipt is _not_ waterproof. So, it was now impossible to activate the newly purchased time on my nobile. I later bought more time at 7/11...but this time input the receipt codes promptly on my mobile.
Popular Post johng
Why not just top up "online" at most 7/11 they have a card swiping machine that you type in your mobile number after telling the cashier what carrier ( DTAC, True, AIS etc ) you use and the amount you want to top up usually get the confirmation SMS before you even get out the door.
luudee
Most convention way is online banking Or if you can, change to post-paid, they have better deals that way as well ... luudee
boonchu
I have done this a few times and also lost the slip before putting in the phone. My local 7/11 checks on the computer and then cancels the old one and reissues another for the same amount, no extra charge.
LukDod
Thank you boonchu... I returned to 7/11 and they corrected the problem, I guess that sometimes there is great customer service in Thailand ;-) And...thanks to the others who provided alternate remedy suggestions. Live and learn....
Tokay
Do it online in the store and be done with it. The same thing happened to me years back, now I always do it in store and online OR at the ATM.
