Anyone used Siamvisarun?

Featured Replies

I need to do a visa run from Bangkok this saturday (only my second consecutive so should be no problem) and was considering using either ThaiVisaRun.com or Siamvisarun.com

Siam Visa Run claims only 1 hour to the border (Myanmar), while ThaiVisaRun is about 4 hours each way (Cambodia). I'd prefer not to spend all day on a Bus to Cambodia if I can avoid it but the 1 hour claim seems too good to be true.

Anyone actually used Siam Visa Run and got a first hand report?

The one hour to the Myanmar border is a bit of an exaggeration 2 to 3 hours would be more correct.

One hour from Kanchanaburi maybe. Three hours from Bangkok.

Right, so in practice the trip to Cambodia from Thaivisarun will be almost the same time and they have a bigger more comfortable bus and seem to have been around longer.

Still interested in if anyone has actually used Siamvisarun and has a report?

They make no claim that travel time is one hour that I can find - indeed they say the actual visa process between borders takes an hour and there is a lunch of an hour and a break of 15 minutes and no estimate of when you will return.

Normally, it would take about 1 hour for visa run service between border.
