Incorrect stamps on Visa

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

I recently did a trio to Myanmar to gain my second entry visa of 60 days, the stamped me only for 15 day.

I questioned them and explained that it was incorrect but they told me I was wrong..

My Visa was ISSUED on Feb 3rd 2014, and enter thailand before May 4th..

I entered Thailand on March 9th and was valid until May 7th, I did my border run on may 6th expecting to get my next 60 days as I have a double entry tourist visa (120 days).

They told me I missed my exit date (may 4th) I told them that date was the date I had to enter thailand before, which i did.. I entered march 9th...

they told me my visa was only valid from Feb 3rd until may 4th, i told them this was incorrect and they simply would not have it..

Any help?????

The enter before date is for all the entries of your visa not just the first entry. Immigration was correct.

You should have activated your second entry before the use by date which you say was may the 4th.

Oh, that really sucks... How do I rectify this?

You will need to leave Thailand and apply for a new tourist visa in a neighbouring country such as Laos or Cambodia.

That is going to be difficult with 6 week old twins... Is there any other way, should I go to immigration here in Bangkok to seek assistance?

Are your children Thai if so you can go to immigration and get a 60 day extension based on visiting them,if that's not the case you don't have much choice, immigration can't assist you because there is no error on their part.

Our two children are thai citizens, though we have another child which is being born through Surrogacy in 3 weeks...

Are the twins yours by birth?

The twins are my partner and the newborn is mine...

If your name is on the birth certificate for the children you can get the 60 day extensioon.

By newborn I assume you mean the one due in 3 weeks. If that is the case you might be able to get an extension at immigration if your doctor was to write a letter stating you cannot travel.
