how do I turn off seeing Users icons by their posts, please

or has this feature gone away ? cause it had been 'off' then seems to have resumed on it's own

further, is the little blurb in a user profile unchangeable ? mine says

Click your User Name - My Settings
Click the Edit my About me page

MJCM, after My settings then what "edit ... about me" doesn't change it sadly

No sure why you want to turn off user icons?? If it is the animated ones, you can stop the animation by pressing ESC.

Maybe it has to do with Profile Feed, but that option has been disabled by the Admins, maybe you could ask them to remove that text ?

ya, MJ not that one, the other one i just posted,

there WAS an option to see no luser icons, and no esc does not stop animated gifs

I edited my Post and removed that image, because I misread your post

That Foo Bar is from "Edit my About me Page ??

If so, then the "He was one of those in the ...." comes my guess from Profile Feed, which has been disabled.

Yeah, I also get the message that it is disabled in my profile.

But you could PM Admin Tywais for example and ask him if he can remove that text for you, or you could wait until another Admin reads this

Just checked and appears I do not have the option to remove it as it was restricted at root level. Can contact support [at] thaivisa.com to see what they can do.
