Single entry visa = 90 days?

Featured Replies

Hi guys.

My double entry visa will be finished in just over a month, I managed to squeeze 6 months out of it.

I plan on flying to KL for a new visa, I need to exit on the 15th June.

I'm flying out of Bangkok on the 17th September, so, I just need around 90 days.

I just want to make sure that I can get 90 days from a single entry.

I'll need to hang arond KL a few days before applying, will need to work it out, probably the 19th or 20th June.

Since day one of the 60 entry is the date you enter and you have to leave on the last day of the extension you have to remember to count the days that way.

You could apply for a 7 day extension at immigration to get the extra days you will need.

A single entry tourist visa will get you a 60 day stamp on arrival.

You can extend that at immigration in Thailand for another 30 days for the fee of 1900 Baht.

That will give you a total of the 90 days you need.

Did you count the days he needs to get to his departure date?

A rough count reveals he needs at least 93 days.

OP says he's going to hang out in KL until the numbers work for him.
