1-Year Thailand Non-Immigrant Visa

Featured Replies

Found some commerzical offert in the internet offering so called 1-Year Thailand Non-Immigrant Visa.

This vasa provides the following:

-Multiple-entry travel to Thailand

-Valid for use for a perion of 1 year

-No work permit necessary

-No money on account necessary

As far as i understand it is not a condition to be min. 50 years old.

Does anyone have experience with this kind of visa?

Sonds very interesting to me. I am below 50 years old, dont want to work or invest money in TH but would like to stay long time there.

Go to the Thai embassy page of your country and look at their visa section. There you see exactly what you can get.

Since i am below 50 years old i can only have a ED Non Immigrant Visa. Never hear about the visa type some internet site post. They write only "1-Year Non Immigrant Thai Visa" but not what kind of visa ED, B, O ect.

The ED would be what you are looking for, the rest involve work, marriage or kids and retirement.

That sounds a bit like what some local firms are offering for a multiple entry non immigrant B visa that cost around $900. Whether it will be possible would depend upon where you are living. You could possibly end up with a very costly single entry visa.

This is one example i found in the internet. Only for 300$ for a 1 year non imm. visa. multiple entry

As far as i understand

- i can be younger than 50 years

- no work necessary

- no money on account necessary

- no school necessary

Someone has experience?

I believe the agent can arrange this visa for you if you live outside Thailand and for a company outside Thailand have to make frequent business trips to Thailand.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

At $300 it is to good to believe plus you will still need to pay for the visa which will be $200.

As I said before you might end up with a single entry visa that costs you $300 plus $80 for the visa.

Getting multiple entry B visas in most countries now is not that easy.
