PDRC condemns grenade, gun attacks
The Nation

BANGKOK: -- A People's Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) leader on Thursday condemned the M-79 attack on the Rajadomneon rally site and assured the public that that the attack would not affect the PDRC's objectives.

PDRC core leader Thaworn Senneam described the attacks early this morning, which killed at least three people, as outrageously violent.

He said that the PDRC guards had tried their best to secure the rally site. "But because of its large size, it's very hard to control safety. The size also facilitates the attacks," Thaworn said.

He also called on the security authorities to impose stricter control at the checkpoints surrounding the rally site, pointing out that no arrests had been made in this or earlier attacks. Even after today's incidents, officers at the checkpoints had failed to search anybody for weapons

He noted that the PDRC’s secretary general Suthep Thaugsuban had admitted that the attack would discourage protesters, the PDRC would not deviate from its goals.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

It's also a bit rich to hear PDRC criminals on the loose complaining about police not arresting other criminals.

in any other country the government and police force. Would be condemned for not catching a single grenade throwing scum bag.i personally believe. Its the government behind the attacks killing its own people including including children this country has a sickness

With so many IEDs within their midst, need they really have to put the blame on other people for these explosions?

The Capo vowed to protect the red shirt demonstrators from violence from the anti government camp, but no one from the Capo, government or police are interested in protecting the anti-government supporters.

If these attacks go on, the military has no other option then to step in, and then the red shirts, and red skirt writers here on Thaivisa can cry foul over a coup.

But that coup is just what the UDD, PT and mr. Dubai want.

That gives them a reason to fight an armed struggle for independence from BKK and to show the world that the Dems. were the evil once, by letting the army stage a coup.

The red camp rather see thousands of fellow county men die in violence, just in order to justify an armed struggle against others.

Had the police arrested certain other criminals, PDRC would never have happened.

It is everyone's democratic right to peaceful protest , it is not a democratic right to maim or murder

They condemn gun attacks when it's convinient for them to. They appeared to be quite supportive of the gun attacks in 2010 to get rid of the red shirts. This video shows red shirts who were helping a wounded soldier being mercilessly shot by the army. Who are the aggressors, really?

In any other country the puppet governments actions that have led to the current protests would have been halted very quickly by the legal system along with a public outcry concerning the manipulation of power.whistling.gif

A thai citizen who accidentally found policeman wearing civilian clothes holding m16 weapon. That policeman did not give any explanation about the m16. Police hotline was called and 2 policeman on duty arrived and the thai citizen requested the uniform policemen to check the civilian clothe policemen's vehicle to see if there are other weaponry. The uniform policemen did not comply. Judging from the policemen holding the m16 who anxiously calling someone with his mobile and the other man beside seems agitated about the citizen videoing them, don't looks like they are on official assignment. Yesterday after midnight Anti-govt 2 dead, 21 wounded by m16, m79 at rally site. hmmm........dry.png

But of course we will give them the benefit of doubt.

Apart from vote buying, monetary and policy corruption, can you tell me what other crimes the PTP have committed? Thaksin is just as corrupt as the great majority of politicians in the world, in the US bribery is even legal through lobbying. But the ones who supported the 25 coups along with the massacres of 1971, 1992 and 2010 to install unelected councils, they are the saviors of the Thai people from corruption?

Red Shirt supporter post in the style of Dr. Jekyll whilst actually supporting their beloved Shinwatra and the Red Shirts Mr. Hydes. Said posters suffer from Dissociative identity disorder.
DID is one of the most controversial psychiatric disorders with no clear consensus regarding its diagnosis or treatment.
Research on effectiveness of treatment has been concerned primarily with clinical approaches and case studies. Dissociative symptoms range from common lapses in attention, becoming distracted by something else, and daydreaming, to pathological dissociative disorders.
No systematic, empirically-supported definition of "dissociation" exists.

What's wrong with you? Just don't like "can't spell"? Trying to be funny and ridicule the idea that the red shirts are doing fine and the protestors are getting killed and wounded? Perhaps it's just too subtle for me.

Wow -- the haters and the lovers are back with their salvos at each other......very conveniently forgetting the dark parts their favorite team played. Selective memory and sniping from nonexistent moral high grounds are among the worst traits of the most vile humans to ever live.................

So where is your prove? You should be going to the police with your prove that red shirts did it and not making wild statements here. Unless you have proof the Red Shirts did it you should shut up. Throwing out rumors is against the TV rules. Shame on you violating the rules.

Once again, the RTP is an utter disgrace to the country.

What is the source of this video? The man recording I hope has bulletproof ones, the guy on the camouflaged jacket was taking pictures of him.

There are dozens of videos such as that one, including the assassination on live TV of General Se Dang. Yellows, Dems, anti-Thaksinistas and Suthepistas will either say it was an accident, it was the "men in black" or the Reds pretending to be the army.

Their blind allegiance to a shirt colour and leader are beyond what a sane mind would ponder.

Sane folks: just connect the dots and you will see who the fanatics are.

Do not make your blind allegiance to a failed party, shirt colour or ignorance our duty.

Do a quick Google search and you will have to open your eyes.

As for violating TVF rules: make a formal complaint to George and the moderators.

However, how can plentiful video evidence in public domain be a rumor?

There is only one guy with the ruthlessness and the money involved and vested interests to have Seh Daeng assassinated. Spend just a little time among the locals and you'll be in the loop.
