davethailand Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Manhattens Steakhouse. Finally gave Manhattens a try tonight and i can honestly say that its the nicest dinner i've had in Pattaya by far. Decor is very very nice, service, customer care and facilites were also spot on. I had crab cakes, large rib eye (with lobster tail) and asparagus and potato gratin, it was all delicious and i don't think i'd be exaggerating if i said that its probably the best tasting steak I've had. I then had creme brulee and a coffee, i am now ######ing bloated. The wife had the rack of lamb which i tasted and was also very nice. My food came to about 2500bht and the total bill was 9800bht for four people. Would i pay that again? Most definatley yes, its a definate place to go for a special meal once in a while IMO.

Beavis and Butthead Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Is Manhattens the same as Manhattans?
Samuian Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 How about Bourbon Street is that place still kickin'?
corkscrew Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 The Prime at the Millennium Hilton also has excellent lobster.
MiG16 Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I wonder if corkscrew either works at Millennium or is their supplier not a steak person so got nothing productive to contribute

Trader Vic's at the Marriott has an intoxicating starter: raw oysters in shot glasses of vodka.
AlexLah Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Just go to Emporium and buy premium Kobe steak and prepare it yourself at home. alex
