30 days Tourist visa extension

I am planning to come to Thailand next week. I would like to stay 47 days, but don't have the time to get a 60 days Tourist visa. Is it possible to get an extension in Thailand? I will be staying in Jomtien. Thank you in advance for your help.

The most you would get is 7 days to leave the country.

The longest extension you can get for a 30 day visa exempt entry is 7 days.

You only choice wilt be leave the country and get a new entry which would be 30 days by air or 15 days at a border crossing unless you are from a G7 country or from one that has a bilateral agreement with Thailand for a longer entry.

The other problem that you might have is that if you don't have a ticket exiting Thailand within 30 days of arrival the airline might not let you board your flight.
