Did anyone else just see a bright green ball of light across chatuchak/Mochit area? A bright fizzling ball of light falling downwards towards ladprao area of the city.

At first I thought it was a meteorite (and crapped myself) but it fizzle out very fast. It looked a lot like a burning up meteorite but I know they burn up high in the atmosphere, not 50m above ground.

Looked a bit like a firework but there was no bang. Perhaps the tail end of a flare?.. anyone see it?

A twitter search for the thai for 'shooting star' has a few people talking about it, and it seems there is a big meteor shower expected this weekend. So i'm glad im probably not going crazy

Lot of red shirts in Lad Phrao area - maybe it was the army illuminating the area looking for strays.
