I have tried to register with these guys at Parsit, http://suparsit.com/index1.php (twice in the last 2 days) & have yet to receive an activation email confirmation, depsite their site claiming that it's been sent. Does anyone have a username & pwd. that they'd care to share with me, just temporarily? :o

I need something to translate a few very simple paragraphs of English into Thai, for a website. I couldn't find anything better than the Parsit option.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I'm a faithfully Mac user! Do you have experience about ArnThai 2.5? (Mac & Windows)

Maybe I'll buy it in Pantip next time.

Here you can also upload docs:

Unless a real Thai person has helped you translate, you should have somebody check the Thai.

You can NOT rely on a machine translator to be accurate, especially not with languages as far apart as English and Thai.

To see what I mean, here is an English machine rendering of a page in a normal newspaper:

"--- right hand side accustomed to duty prime minister go out tv --- people announce ask for omit space no accept figure prime minister for content harmonize of person whole country in year dog auspicious no want see Thai --- keep out at the same time gunwale apologize 16 bald sound land vote get someone to do something but also watch over go until procedure search for prime minister in council alive land be polite demand group alliance stop congregate come share body politics together field opposition party share chief of military staff firm thank you land sacrifice for nation."

A specific translation program may do slightly better than this, but not much.

It pays off to use a real translator if you want Thai people to really be able to use and understand your website.
