Phuket Hills Golf?

Featured Replies

Hi

I use Facebook quite a lot and so, when I try to see what my friends have commented in Thai language I have to use Bing or Google to translate - Yes, I know they're not accurate, so please no need to let me know again, as I can't read Thai.

One friend consistently posts sentences, which after I've translated them, quite often have the phrase. 'Phuket Hills Golf' in them. Here are 2 examples of her writing -

1.) ฮ่าาา ว่าไป

2.) ดำจัง !! ฮ่าาา

If a poster could translate them, naturally, that may shed some light on why the translation services mention, Phuket Hills Golf', quite frequently.

Okay, here's another containing Phuket Golf,

แม่ฮ่าง...นอนแล้วเด้อคร้

เดี๋ยวตื่นสาย..ฝันดีน๊เพื่อนๆ*_*

Any takers?

First of all, most people on facebook usually write in a kind of slang, which the online translators won't be able to translate.

Think of how many people write when they text in English and you kinda get the idea.

You're probably right, but I'd still like it translated.

There's no mention of Phuket Golf in either... roughly it's-

1. Ha ha... go.

2. Am very dark, ha ha

Don't use google or bing as they're really ropey for translating Thai. Use http://www.thai-language.com/translate/ or http://www.thai2english.com as they translate each individual Thai word properly. Obviously with FB chat you'll get the odd word that won't translate as it's slang or slang abbreviations. :)

Thanks, I appreciate that. I'll give those translator recommendations a fly.
