Simple question , is it allowed to walk up the soi or will they arrest me. I guess I will find out soon.....

Go for it, 3 road actually has a decent traffic and not a single cop insight . Seems many could not care less about the curfew

Let me have a few lines you want in your obituary and I will see it gets posted if you do not post report back in few hours. tongue.png

Is it allowed ? It's a clear "NO".

Is it risky ? It depends on where you are, I guess.

If anyone stops you, tell them that someone from Thai Visa told you that it would be OK

Just make sure you got your passport with the tourist visa stamp and dummy up a ticket.

Tell them you are looking for a cab to get to the airport. They will find you a cab.

You then ask the cab driver where he goes for a late night beer during times like this.

You might get lucky.

Looks like he/she didn't make it then.

Either shot or run over. It was nice knowing him.

Now, everyone, get back indoors.

Yes I survived a walk around the neighbourhood here but it was very, very quite. And the few locals I met looked at me like I was a ghost . The only noise in my soi came from the dogs so first time I've experienced this.

Its the first time you've heard noise from the soi dogs :-)

Good to hear you're back in one piece.

Then I suppose there were a few locals who were disappointed they were not shooting at anything that moved ...or barked.
