Chumphon Ferry Piers

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm trying to sort out which ferry service goes where. There seems to be all kind of conflicting information on the internet.

I think that Lomprayah goes to Ao Thung Makham Noi Pier, and Somserm goes to Pak Nam pier, and that Seatran now goes out of Luang Suan, but it's all very confusing.

Can someone help?

Thanks

Lomprayah has a pick up service from the train station or your hotel. No one makes their way to the pier themselves.

Seatran also stopped the Chumporn ferry a while ago. Now just the Lomprayah or the night car ferries. Lomprayah will take you into the town for 50 baht transfer if I read your post right and you are not leaving from chumphon whistling.gif where you can transit to HH, BKK or south down to phuket or krabi. thumbsup.gif

Hey guys,

sorry not to be more clear. I'm going to have my own transportation in Chumphon and will be picking up a friend from the piers. I'm just trying to figure out where the piers are. Thanks!

OH! now you are more clear! tongue.pngfacepalm.gif Don't know, but I would think there would be signs on the highway! ????

Had to change my reply!

Lol sorry :) Yeah it seems like it is very well marked but I like to know these things.

Wait for the Lomprayah bus to leave from the train station and follow it.

They have not used Langsuan in about 2 years. They built a carpark restaurant offices and than closed TIT.
