I am a 47 year old American who owns his own condo in Pattaya. I trade my own portfolio on the internet. Anyway, in my passport I have 2 triple entry tourist visas from the USA and an expired ED visa in between. I am currently on the third entry of my second triple entry tourist visa. In about 10 more weeks I plan to apply for another ED visa in Laos. I am fearful that they might reject my application for this second ED visa. They issued the first ED visa in Vientien. I did attend classes and speak intermediate Thai but I am still nervous because of the crackdown. I only have maybe 1 , 30 day re-entry in my passport. Should I apply in Laos or maybe go to Cambodia for this second ED visa?????

You can get another non-ed visa in Vientiane without a problem. There is no limit on how many you can have.

You history of tourist visas will not be a problem either because you got them in states.
