Border Runs to Kanchanaburi/Burma

Featured Replies

Last month, Thursday May 8th, I did this visa run without any problems.

The 'new rules' then came into place on Saturday May 10th.

I have just contacted Express Visas who I did the border run with before and they said that everything is ok now.

Can anyone vouch for this?

Did the run on Tuesday to Kanchanaburi border at Phunumron, with Thai Visa Run no problems.

I did post a thread on this, do a search have a read.

I went to Mae Sot on my own on Monday 26th May and was told I could not do an in/out - I have a relatively new passport but three in/outs from Mae Sai already... So I ended up overstaying and caught a flight to KL instead - doh!

I did a visa run at Mae Sai and an officer said the new (well... current) rule is that they accept up to 4 visa runs. The question is whether that is the grand total or in between international flights
