Filipino lady coming to Thailand for a holiday.

Featured Replies

Please help with information...

I am planning to go to the Philippines soon and want to bring a lady friend back to Thailand with me for a month long holiday.
What are the chances of her being turned away at Manila airport if she is with me and has a valid passport, and she has been to Thailand before on a 2 week visit?
I have glanced somehwere that immigration has toughned the laws on ladies leaving Phils, even with the "boyfriend", because of the current situation in Thailand.
I have sent her a ticket before and she was abruptly stopped and turned away at the airport, even though she had been to Thailand previously and had no overstay. That was about 2 months ago.

Any info regarding this topic will be appreciated.
Thanks

What did she do with the ticket you bought her?

right at this time even you travel with her , could still be at risk of being stopped, make sure she has return ticket , enough money , and maybe even proof of your relationship , previous travel together , pics etc. it all helps the cause , of course when things get back to normal in thailand , it should be easier, good luck.

It depends to your girlfriend personality. It should be questionable to the Philippine Immigration Officer if she can't answer the simple questions that they will ask to her. She needs to be smart in front of them to prove that she can travel alone.
