Exit visa for Brit with retirement extension

Featured Replies

Hi,

I got a retirement ext to my non imm "O" visa in Mar 2014 and I now want to travel to the UK for 3 or 4 months. I know that I have to go to Samui immigration (next week), but what do they need from me and how much will it cost (I already got fleeced once in Samui when they charged me 5000 baht for the ret ext) and how long am I allowed to spend in the UK without ruining the extension that I have?

Thanks

Single entry re-entry permit is 1000 baht and multiple re-entry is 3800 baht.

You can stay how long you like until your extension is finished.

Next time you make an extension at Samui Immigrations put 1900 baht in an envelope marked "FEE 1900 baht"

A single Re Entry Permit costs 1,000 Baht.

You can stay in UK as long as your current permission to stay is valid with this permit.

Yes their price list is quite creative.sad.png

thanks for the replies

You can get the re-entry at the airport; don't need to go to Immigration (plenty of previous posts about how, what, where .....)

That is true if flying from Bangkok but from other airports it is always a maybe.

You can get it in advance at the local immigration office without a problem.
