Pattaya offline map

Featured Replies

Hi!

Going to visit Pattaya and need good offline map for android.

Have spent some time searching and found couple maps but with very bad quality map.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Tom Sidhuwitz

Why offline? I have nexus 7 with 3g and Google maps that I have used extensively all over Thailand with over 95% accuracy except a few places. Cost of inet for 3 months. 800 bht. If no 3 g for your phone I'd go to pantip and buy my nexus for around 6K bht from memory. Its a really fantastic piece of kit. John in Rayong

Just beacuse for family of four it's not reasonable for one week vacation ))

And as I can see google maps has very few information about shops, restaurants etc of Pattaya.

It looks like it is not attractive region for google :)

Couple days ago I've seen about CityPalm app.

I've tried and really like it at least for now.

Hi,

I was in Pattaya last february and march.

I used Google maps along with a data plan.

If your phone is unlocked and you buy on the street a 1-2-Call sim card, it's very cheap to get data with 3G even 4G(LTE).

And you get the possibility to call back home very cheap.

Go to TukCom on south Pattaya road, ask any foreigner (farangs) everybody knows.

By the way, if you get the envy of buy a phone there, look carefully at prices. If you're north american (Cdn or USA), prices are cheaper home.

Enjoy...
