Hi, I need to buy some Turkish Lira " TRY " before I travel to Istanbul, because there is no good rate for Thai Baht in Istanbul. Do you have any idea where can I buy some ? Thanks for help.

Euros are widely accepted in Turkey, and easy to exchange.

I would advise you buy only a limited amound of Lira, the exchange rate outside Turkey is sure to be bad anyway.

You are only likely to get them at either Bangkok airport. However, it would be easier to change into dollars and change them once in Turkey as a second option
