Any idea what Big Wing are charging for parts and fitting? If you ask them direct before arming yourself with knowledge, you could get any kind of whacky answer from the Pattaya lot (lovely though they are). For a Honda Wave and other small scooters, yes. But for a CB 500 X, "any shop" won't have the parts and the pads will cost a lot more than Honda Wave pads. Sintered pads will wear the discs really quick. Also, would be ok for the CB500 to use a sintered pad? Thanks for the reply. Indeed, that was what I expected. You clearly have not had the pleasure of dealing with Big Wing Pattaya and their "spontaneity". While that may be true of cheaper pads it is not true as a blanket statement It is certainly not true of EBC Sintered HH pads EBC has removed irons from pads that other manufacturers use to save $$ & replaced those with Stainless powder The HH pads use copper powder Also note that 99% of all motorcycles come stock with some form of sintered pads from the OEM Albeit maybe not quality ones But I do agree with you that most folks will be more than happy with organic pads that EBC sells. Just depends on how you ride & what you want from your brakes One note for OP....DO not look for the cheapest brakes you can find Brakes & Tires are areas that money is well spent on the best quality for your situation.
