I have used mine in Canada successfully many times.

But I did tell my branch that I would be using it overseas, and to make sure that the weekly and daily limit were increased.

A couple of times, it has been rejected, but very few times.

For the most part, it works fine, with the exception of a slightly high transaction cost.

It's a good idea as it may be difficult to fix things if they choose to close the card down due to unusual activity (like being used abroad).

I advised them it would be used semi-frequently, they raised limits and I've never had a problem.
