kaptainrob
jma's sat images gave a fair indication we'd have t'storms today ... sure enough, that storm came in from SW and dumped over northern suburbs. We had nice ... soaking, rain at Hang Dong. http://mscweb.kishou.go.jp/RA-II/sat_img.htm
jaapfries
Hi All, I have been using a brilliant little (free) app called "Windfinder" which will give you the following information, literally at your finger-tips: 1. Wind-Speeds 2. Wind-Directions 3. Wave-Heights 4. Temperatures (you an set it for either C or F 5. Tide-Heights 6. Concise Weather-Info. All this information is contained within 1 single screen and it always starts with the current day and gives you a week's forecast. You can find their web-site here: http://www.windfinder.com/ Again, it's a free app. and I have 'sailed with it' for about a year now. Highly recommended. Cheers, JF
