Can anyone tell me if home works has a 7 day money back guarantee? My partner made me buy one of those stupid air coolers which has absolutely no effect on the temperature of the room.

Just take it back.... simple.... as long as you do within 7 days should be no problem.

Let us know how it turned out, but I think you'll find that 7 day is for replacement etc not just because you dont want it.

As far as I'm concerned it's faulty, it says air cooler but it doesn't cool the air at all.

Is it one that needs ice put into it? ...was that done.... ? I have never used one my self, but someone did tell me they were not to effective in large areas...

I suppose it depends on the store, but Home Pro, Tesco have refunded money to me for stuff I have taken back ... Some stores may insist on exchange, I suppose... ?

Why would it worry the wife, saving face when dealing with a store? ... don't answer that!

Good news is I got a refund.

I had the choice of putting it back on my card, which would have taken 15 days or getting a voucher to spend in the store, which is what I chose.

My partner did come with me in the end, probably felt guilty letting me deal with it on my own. Lol.
