I always run Joe's answers through my James Earl Jones / Darth Vader voice synthesizer to get the proper effect as in "You will get your visa."

I recently had a problem with my tourist visa. I started a thread. The only person who actually gave helpful advice was Ubon Joe.

The rest of the posts either provided information that was incorrect, or just ripped on me. Why doesn't this website just have an ASK JOE thread so someone like me with a genuine visa related problem does not have to put up with all the stupid and poisonous comments by idiot posters.

Better still why don't you scour the internet for a few hours and the learn the visa regulations for Thailand for yourself.

It's much more fun being all grown up and not having to rely on other people all the time trust me.

I mean look a 30 second google search throws up hundreds of pages of information right.

While Mr. Joe is most always an excellent source of information, there is just too much involved in Visas, extensions, work permits, etc. that rely on the real time information and experiences of Members. Policies often differ from one Immigration office or Embassy/Consulate to the next. That said, this Forum is much more closely monitored than elsewhere and abusive posts or incorrect information removed. One just has to realize that you are an anonymous personage here and not let any negativity bother you too much.

Hot blonde, I agree with what you're saying about Joe, but other members are also very friendly and helpful, but clearly don't have Joe's extensive knowledge. As much as I would like to have an ask Joe thread. The guy seems to do a very good job of answering many questions of every thread. I guess you could always PM him if you're not happy with other replies.
