What happens to all the abandoned motorbikes?

I'm not familiar with other high-rise condos, but I know that most of the View Talays have literally hundreds of motorbikes that don't look like they've moved in years. I'm sure a lot of people buy a bike whilst on a lengthy holiday, or even after retiring here, and then the bike is abandoned because the owner has either died or returned to his home country. I wonder if these high rise condos have to have a clear out eventually?

Good question. If you ride on the east side of Pattaya, you will notice hundreds of bikes in dozens of impound yards. What happens to those unclaimed? I would love to go the auction, if there is one.
