Single non-o in Kl still possible?

Featured Replies

Hi.

My 400k hasn't arrived yet so cannot renew yearly extension (for being married to Thai).

I had a 60 day extension on the yearly extension already so I guess the only option is to go get a non-o visa.

Do they still give single entry non-o's in KL? I understand that they don't give multiple non-o's anymore.

KL would be by far the easiest travel option.

If they still do, what are the requirements? How much money in Thai bank?

And is it possible to show foreign bank account?

Thanks.

I have seen no recent reports for a a single entry in KL.

The last one for October of last year had over 400k baht in the bank but it was not mentioned if it was needed for not.

Penang might be a better choice if you are located in the southern part of the country. Recent report of getting one based upon having a Thai child that showed about $5000 in a foreign bank but again it supplied the proof without it being asked for it.
