212traders
My retirement visa expires in June. I had to leave Thailand in February for medical treatment. Can I renew my retirement visa while overseas?
Mario2008
You can get a new visa while abroad, but I suspect you are on an extension of stay. These can only be extended in Thailand itself. Seems you will have to apply for a new non-O visa.
212traders
If I were to extend my stay for 1 year, will my multiple re-entry visa also be extended?
Mario2008
No, you would need to get a re-enry permit to be able to stay and go during that year. a singe would be 1,000 baht, a multiple re-entry 3,800 baht. A re-entry is only valid for the duration of the current permission to stay.
