So I just got my work visa, and I was wondering, hypothetically speaking, what happens if I lose your job when my here on a work visa?

Also, if I'm leaving/entering the county on a work visa, and I didn't actually have a job, would boarder control have anyway of knowing I'm no longer employed without investigating?

There are no such thing as work visa, you must have a non immigrant visa and a work permit to work.

If you got the non-B visa from a consulate abroad, it will still be valid.

If you have extension of stay based on employment from immigrations within Thailand, the extension ends same day as your job.
