Jai Dee
Cuts in daily allowances will help stop soccer gambling in schools Parents are suggested to cut daily allowances of their children during the World Cup or work with schools in preventing them from using the money for gambling. Watana Muangsuk (วัฒนา ม่วงสุข), caretaker Social Development and Human Security Minister, said limiting allowances was the best way to prevent soccer betting. Mr. Watana said parents may ask schools to arrange for students to use coupons to buy food or other merchandises instead of cash during this time. He said parents should not spoil their children by giving them everything they want. TokyoT
I see a real business opportunity here for those youth inclined towards the money lending industry. The young lone sharks would love to provide the necessary funds to fill the gap, until allowances return to normal following the WC.
