Asking for some friends of mine. Does Vientiane give multiple non-o for volunteers under Thai foundations with the required documents (letter of invite and official certificate of foundation) or only single entry?

Vientiane does not do multiple entry visas.

You will not get a multiple entry non-o visa for volunteer work from any nearby embassy or consulate.

Most people are able to get extensions of stay at immigration after they get a work permit with paperwork from the organization they are working with.
