Anyway, I got sent to the principal's, errr, headmaster's office once for making fun of that hapless lot here on TV, and had to sign off on something. Don't want to go back. Being alone in a room with a male from that country is something I definitely want to avoid. But I'm pretty sure they get along best with Lithuanians. Anyone else heard that? They have thier British pubs and clubs and seek other Brits to make friends. Most of them make no effort to learn the language claiming its not necessary because English is so widely accepted. In the past when many countries were under British rule it was considered "just not done" to marry an asian. Things have changed. I know I'm putting myself at risk of some flak here but, as a Scot, I really think you should substitute the word "English" in place of "British" in all that you say. I would suggest that Scots have no problem "assimilating" to any other culture since so many have been forced to do so historically by the English, under whose rule the Scots have been for too long! If they were going to express a preference at all, it would probably be first for anyone who has money to spend and isn't a sticky- s__t and second for someone who practices minimal personal hygiene ... both of which demonstrate why your fictional poll results make no sense. Free health care. Reasonable level of free education. And a lot of Brits don't mind a wife with her price list tattooed on her body.
