Thai women tend to be, you know, smallish, which is why they might prefer... I'd better not say, since it's just something I've heard. Anyway, I got sent to the principal's, errr, headmaster's office once for making fun of that hapless lot here on TV, and had to sign off on something. Don't want to go back. Being alone in a room with a male from that country is something I definitely want to avoid.

But I'm pretty sure they get along best with Lithuanians. Anyone else heard that?

I would say definitely the British. They do not assimilate easily when they live in other countries. They have thier British pubs and clubs and seek other Brits to make friends. Most of them make no effort to learn the language claiming its not necessary because English is so widely accepted.

I know I'm putting myself at risk of some flak here but, as a Scot, I really think you should substitute the word "English" in place of "British" in all that you say.

I would suggest that Scots have no problem "assimilating" to any other culture since so many have been forced to do so historically by the English, under whose rule the Scots have been for too long! More Scots have already "assimilated" successfully to other cultures than now live in Scotland.
