Bakseeda
I have just done a run up to Ban Phu Nam Ron border crossing and again very smooth border crossing and again 30 day stamp.. No problems.. They said its now only 7 days for ASEAN peoples but remains 30 days for G7 member countries and 15 days for other Western countries. Have to pay 900 bahts for this exemption stamp but very easy and smooth. And ,better still. only small ink stamps in my passport pages, NOT one whole page wasted. I travelled up there from Hua Hin left here at 7am and back home all done at 4pm in the afternoon. You can find the number in AWOL. All in all a very pleasant and easy trip. Much easier than Ranong.! Lite Beer
900 baht for what?
ubonjoe
The 900 baht is 500 baht for the entry to Myanmar plus a 400 baht service fee. It was not for the entry to Thailand. There is also no 7 day limit to those from ASEAN countries. It is based upon what each country is allowed. They might be only giving 7 days for those from some countries but not all countries of ASEAN.
