kikenyoy Posted June 13, 2014 Share Posted June 13, 2014 On June 20th I go in to renew my type o visa (Thai family). I would like to travel a week or two after we submit the forms. Will it be possible to get a re-entry permit during this time? I've lived here for a long time and left the country many times but I've never tried to do it during the 30 day period between when my 1 year extension of stay expires and I get the new one. ubonjoe Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 You can get a re-entry permit for the under consideration period that will be valid up to your report back date. You can apply for it as soon as you get the under consideration stamp.when you apply for your extension of stay (it is not a visa of any kind).
