ED Visa no Passport

Featured Replies

I am heading back to UK in 3 weeks and returning to Thailand in August.

My Passport is down to almost its last page, so I need a new one which is one of the reasons for going back home.

Can I get all the paperwork for an ED Visa from a school here without my new passport number, or will I have to wait until I get a new passport and then apply? I dont want to have to go to Laos or somewhere whilst I have the opportunity o get one in the UK.

I have tried asking WALEN on Skype, but they hardly ever reply to messages so I have given up with them and will go with a different school.

Maybe Mr. Whalen will reply to you here, as he often does.

Even after I said I didn't want to use his school because of slow replies on Skype? I guess another post from him can't hurt his cause.

I think the paperwork they give you will have your current passport number on it so that could be a problem. But I would think that if you showed both passports when you applied for the visa they would do it.

You might want to contact the embassy or the consulate where you plan on applying and ask them.

Did you try emailing or calling Walen.

OK, thanks - I might have a drive over to the Walen school near me and ask.

Also, I will call the Royal Thai Embassy in London

as Birmingham and Hull said no visas sent by post
