Leaving the motorbike while not in Thailand

I leave mine w/ my mechanic. But he's a great guy, known him for years, absolutely trustworthy. I get back, the bike's running great, only a km or two more on it. No charge, but I give him a tip anyway. Bike storage at his small shop isn't one of his normal services.

Get a cover with tie downs when you do leave. Starting it up every couple of weeks would be good. Check the air pressure in the tires when you come back.

I'd ask around for a covered place.

There is covered, lighted, gated with 24 hour security guards across from my house. From NY pizza on 3rd road, look south 30 meters for the sign. I think it is B1800 for a car, no idea for a bike.

As Craig posted, there are several self- storage businesses up and running in pattaya now. They have specific spaces just for motorbike storage. I would just google self-storage in pattaya. I know there is a large one in the Pratumnak Hill area between pattaya and Jomtien...can't miss it if you look to the left if going up the hill from Patts to Jomtien.
