Silly Question Time......

Featured Replies

:D I really thought that when we moved here we would see Siamese cats all the time. Are they really uncommon? They are gorgeous but noisy, I did consider trying to get one for our girls but I think they would be too rough with it. :o

Soi dogs might have something to do with not sighting Siamese cats on the street........ :o

If you go to the temples where many cats are abandoned you will see many cats with Siamese characteristics.

Also, be aware that the pointy face of the modern Siamese differs greatly from traditional Siamese cats, so you may be looking for something else.

I had two siamese cats (momma and daughter) when I was running our resort in LOS back in 2000 - 2002.

I think it is because of unchecked breeding, few Thais neuter their cats. And I suspect that the Siamese characteristics are a recessive trait...say that because I've seen thoroughly non-Siamese looking cats mated with same give birth to them.
