I hope the man recovers and the guilty a punished.

As for those that make light of the pain and suffering of others...

Or maybe he was guilty and got his punishment.

So it took 3 armed Thais to beat up an unprepared, middle-aged man?

Maybe they hadn't read the Marquess of Queensberry Rules for hit men.

There's no indication that it required three men to get the job done, but your reference to "3 armed Thais" seems to imply that everywhere else in the world when someone is attacked by "bad guys" they first have to make sure the attack is one-on-one, the attacker & attackee are in the same age and weight class, that all weapons are removed and that a referee is present. In the real world, away from the keyboard & comic books, things tend not to operate that way.

More childish comments meant to imply that Thai men are somehow inadequate compared to all the virile, macho, Boy Scout farang from Euro-topia & all points due west.

You're off the mark.

I'm just implying that Thais behave like cowards when a fight takes place. Sorry if it hits you in the nail...

I am fortunate that my past transgressions in life were not handled so.

IMO, guilt and punishment is best left to established institutions that are better experienced, educated and qualified than myself.

When punishment is allowed to be delivered on the street corner and is ignored or condoned, then just perhaps we are all a bit closer towards receiving the same should we offend someone, however slight.
