Former Boxer and Bar Owner commits suicide at his East Pattaya home

PATTAYA:--On Friday Morning Police were called to the home of a former professional boxer and bar owner who appears to have committed suicide.

Inside the bedroom was the body of Khun Tiengchai aged 26, who was hung from a noose attached to a metal grill over a window. It is thought he had been dead for between 1 and 2 hours prior to the discovery.

His friend and housemate discovered the body after he returned home after sending his girlfriend to work. He mentioned how some hours earlier the pair were watching World Cup football together in the living room of the victims home at the Saengsupa Village.

It is thought that the victim’s bar, located in Central Pattaya, was suffering from financial issues and he was also known to be in debt due to a number of World Cup Football Bets he had placed with an illegal Bookmaker.
