jobounce
I tied to renew my non imm O based upon having custody of my Children. Hull now have to send all the documents to London for approval. My application was rejected even though all the paper work was correct. They said I can only apply for the triple entry tourist visa. Hull said that London are now only giving non Imm O's to people married to Thais or over 65.
ubonjoe
Was it rejected by Hull or turned down by the embassy? What documents did you have? Did you have proof you are the legal father of your child by way of marriage or legitimization?
Mario2008
Did you apply for a single or a multiple non-O?
jobounce
I applied for the 1 year multi entry using the documents I have always used in the past (birth certificates, divorce paper, proof of custody etc). It was turned down by London, Hull cannot approve any immigrant visas now (and have also stopped postal applications)
Mario2008
I believe they can still issue single non-immigrant visas, but indeed only if you appear in person. The embassy is very strict on the issuance of multiple non-O visas. Especially based on having a child with Thai nationality a multiple is difficult to get everywhere. jobounce
Unlike the good old days when Hull would give a non Imm O with a self written letter! Triple entry tourist visas will have to do for now.
