JJDinsay
Anybody have experience with these guys. Will be using them as a line for my business - Unlimited use and users on a 512/256 DSL connection. They boast a 45MBps line to their Singapore Gateway? Is that a lot? Doesn't sound a lot at all. Thing is they have won awards like best ISP as voted by Bangkok Post and by TelecomAsia Magazine - is that worth squat? Throw down your experiences please. Rangsit
There's a Pacific Internet in Australia, might be the same company. Never used it myself but l heard no complaints from friends who were customers. Pricewise it was better value than the major telcos in Australia. monty
It's probably 45 Mbps (bits) instead of MBps (Bytes)... 1 MBps equals 8 Mbps !!! No idea about quality of their ADSL... Their monthly packages work really well over here (Pattaya & TOT phoneline). 45Mbps might get congested if they start signing up a lot of broadband users... The biggest provider (CSLoxinfo) has a combined international bandwith of 245Mbps and lord knows how many subscribers they have... Loxinfo's pipes to the outside world IIG 155 Mbps Fiber USA REACH 45 Mbps Fiber SINGAPORE SINGTEL 45 Mbps Fiber Singapore As far as I know they don't suffer congestion yet, but their main international link is a pipe of 155 Mbps straight to the USA, where most of the webcontent is hosted!
