I have a few questions about my options for visa and I hope some of you guys may give me a hint. I will give u some basic informations about myself.

I am Romanian but live an work in Italy since 2007, my wife (Thai) lives here with me since October 2012, we got married in Thailand in April 2012.

We first meet in 2010 and since then I have come many times in Thailand sometimes even 3 times in a month for very short stay (with visa on arrival) as well as longer stays (with one entry tourist visa)

I have never had an overstay an only once I did a visa run to Vientiane.

I work as a flight attendant and I sometimes can get a lot of time off from work (even 3 months at a time) so I would like to have some flexibility with the visa, and I see tourist visa is about to change rules so I don't exactly know what other visa I should get.

Now we have a baby girl too (we are still in process of making all the document for her including a Thai passport)

I don't intend to live in Thailand, I also want to add I don't have 400.000. Bath in my bank account that I understand are needed but I do get well more than 50.000 baht a month, is that ok for the financial requirement for a Non Immigrant visa?

What would you guys suggest would be the best visa? I am not sure if a Non Immigrant visa for marriage is good for me and if it is what exactly are the requirements for it (financials included)

Thanks for any feedback.

You only need 40K Baht per month income, or 400K in savings if you are applying for a one year extension of permission to stay(Not a Visa), not needed if you aren't going to live here.

One often doesn't need that for a visa, you can apply for a single or multi entry Non-Immigrant "O" Visa based on your marriage. A single entry would allow an entry of 90 days, and a multi entry would allow a stay of 90 days each time. Each Consulate has their own version of requirements, so I would ask at the location where you intend to apply.

Thank you so much for your answer, that is great news for me I guess a multiple entry non imm O visa is the way to go. Once again thanks for your answer

Just be aware that not every Consulate issues one year multi-entries, you may need to shop around or accept a single entry. However, if your in the region, the Consulate in Savanakhet, Laos seems to be helpful to most applicants.
