ubonjoe
Be sure you keep a copy of the police report for where it was stolen and anything you get from your embassy there to show you got a new passport. Then after returning go to immigration and try to get the your extension reinstated into your new passport. If not you would have to start all over again. Cloggie
Lesson one: ALWAYS make a copy off all your stamps, visa and all other papers, or even better scan them and put them in your Dropbox! Now you have nothing to prove.....
simple1
When my passport was stolen in Malayaia I was issued an emergency passport & then obtained full replacement passport from my embassy in BKK. A bit of delay as the Oz embassy insisted that ID doco had to be originals when passport has been lost / stolen. Jomtien immigration informed me that I had to reapply for O visa with retirement extention and reentry permit. Reason given was O visa had been provisioned offshore. if provisioned onshore no need to reapply for O visa etc with the assosiated costs New O visa & extension for retirement were provided within the hour with full fees payment.
