Convert Non B to Marriage Visa inside Thailand?

Featured Replies

Can i convert my current non b visa to a marriage visa without leaving the country? I have the 800k in the bank if its required to show.

Thanks guys!

You don't need to convert anything. You simply apply for an extension of stay based upon marriage during the last 30 days of your 90 day non-b visa entry.

You only need 400k baht in a Thai bank in your name only for 60 days.

If you truly have an extension extension of stay (it is not a visa) based upon working that you got at immigration you just change the reason for your extension.

You need to have 400,000Baht in the bank to get a Marriage Visa in thailand? That seems like a lot.

If you find that a lot, dont go for retirement one, that will cost you double aka 800.000 Thb.

Sent from my iPad so Please excuse any typos

The 400k must be in an account in your name only for the 60 days, not a joint account.

You can have 40,000 baht per month income as an alternative.
